Volkswagen Golf - Video tutorial
Model: Volkswagen Golf
MK 4, Golf IV, Golf 4
- Years 1997-2003 In order to replace the thermostat of the Volkswagen Golf, you need to loosen the screws that hold it in place: to locate it, you will need to open the hood so that you have access to the components in the engine compartment. The thermostat is located between the alternator and the oil level control rod: once freed from its fixing screws, it will be possible to remove it completely in order to insert the new replacement part. After installing the new thermostat, you can close the hood and check that everything is functioning properly.
