Operation: How to replace the thermostat on the Volkswagen Golf 5 1.9 TDi?

In order to replace the Volkswagen Golf 5 thermostat, you need to open the hood and access the engine compartment: the thermostat is positioned between the right side of the engine block and the battery. Therefore, the battery must be removed before the thermostat can be removed; once the battery has been disconnected and removed from its housing, it will be possible to disconnect the thermostat from its connector and replace it with a new spare part. After installing the new thermostat, the previously removed battery can also be reinstalled.

How to set the time on the Peugeot 308
