How to replace the thermostat of the Volkswagen Golf 2.0 TDI

Today we will discover the instructions that will allow us to disassemble and replace the thermostat of the Volkswagen Golf 2.0 TDI. First, we open the hood of the car and start disconnecting and removing the intake hose; then we also remove the EGR valve, as shown in the video. At this point, we lift the car and disconnect the coolant pipe, removing and disconnecting the thermostat pipes and avoiding the fixing screws to remove it; we replace it with the new original one and reassemble all the other components, finally topping up the coolant.
