How to Remove the EGR Valve on a Volkswagen Golf 6 1.6 TDi?

To remove the EGR valve on a Volkswagen Golf 6 1.6 TDi, open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine compartment. Once opened, locate the valve at the front of the engine block, between the intake manifold and the exhaust manifold. By loosening the securing screws and disconnecting all connectors attached to the valve, you can remove it from its housing and replace it with a new spare part; this should then be inserted into its seat, secured, and connected properly.
