Dismantling and Cleaning the EGR Valve on Volkswagen Golf

In this video tutorial, you will learn how to remove the EGR valve from a fourth-generation Volkswagen Golf. First, open the bonnet and remove the protective plastic cover: to do this, unscrew the three screws using a socket wrench. Top left, you will see the EGR valve; loosen the clamp on the air duct: remove the duct hoses and unscrew the EGR valve using a socket wrench, as well as the screws from the exhaust manifold. At this point, pull it out and clean it with suitable products found in car parts shops! Then, reassemble everything!
