How do you replace the windshield washer pump of the Volkswagen Polo?

In order to replace the windshield washer pump of the Volkswagen Polo, you need to loosen the screws that secure the left front wheel, so that it can be completely removed from its housing; once the wheel has been removed, you can proceed by loosening the screws that secure the inner cover of the wheel arch, locating the windshield washer pump underneath. This can be removed from its housing by disconnecting the appropriate hoses and loosening the screws that secure it to its housing; by doing so, you can insert the new one in its place, checking that everything works properly.
