How do you replace the battery of the Volkswagen Crafter?

Inside the Volkswagen Crafter, the battery is positioned in the passenger compartment: in order to reach it, you will need to go to the front passenger side and remove the hooks that secure the footrest panel. Once these hooks have been removed, you can also remove the panel itself, in order to access the underlying components: the battery present here can be disconnected from the respective power cables and removed from its seat. By doing this, you can insert the new replacement part, then cover everything with the corresponding panel previously removed.
