To remove the rear headlamp of the Volkswagen Tiguan, open the boot to access the black trim panel next to the light unit. Pry off this panel using a tool; once removed, you can loosen the screws underneath.

This will allow you to extract the light unit from its housing by disconnecting the connector at the back. Once the headlamp is freed, connect the new replacement part securely.
