The procedure for resetting the Service light on the Volkswagen Passat is done by turning on the instrument panel, inserting the ignition key: once the panel is turned on, you can navigate the menu using the steering wheel controls and select the "Driving time/distance" option. At this point, you can select the "Since start" option and then "Reset inspection": by doing this, you will be able to completely turn off the light. Once the reset is done, you can turn off and turn on the instrument panel, checking that the light has disappeared.
