How to Dismantle the Mirror Cap on a Volkswagen Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo MK IV, Polo IV, Polo 4, MK 4, 9N - Years 2001-2009

This is a straightforward operation. Simply unscrew the bolts securing the mirror from the inside of the door. First, remove the external seal of the window glass. You can then remove the screws securing the panel in the position of the mirror in question. Next, remove the large bolt securing the mirror and disconnect the plug that controls the mirror movements. Now, simply extract the mirror from the outside, and you're done!
