In this video, we can see how to remove the gear knob of a Volvo V70: we turn the lower support clockwise, and gently place it on the metal base of the automatic transmission. Now we need to remove the plastic clip that holds the knob in place; to do this, we will use two pointed screwdrivers to lift it from its housing.

However, we must do this very carefully to avoid scratching the metal. This will allow us to easily lift the knob.

The replacement knob for this automatic model is only available as a genuine Volvo spare part with the code 43228, and unfortunately, we are unable to provide a price.

How to open the bonnet on a Volkswagen Golf?
