Let's see how to protect the edge of the trunk of the Volvo V60 with a transparent PPF (Paint Protection Film). We can find a roll measuring 50x500 mm, made of self-adhesive nano-ceramic anti-UV material on AliExpress with the code 1005005896656990 for the price of 13.82 euros with free shipping.

For application, it is essential to work in a clean environment.

It should be dry and dust-free, at a temperature between 18 and 25°C, and avoid direct sunlight. We wash the trunk bumper with car detergent, rinse, and dry it thoroughly.

Then we wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol to ensure it is properly degreased. As shown in the video, we apply painter's tape to outline the area to be protected.

If we are applying the film with the adhesive side, we should start applying the tape from the inside and then carefully stretch it out, using a dry sponge to push out the air, moving outward. We will then cut the tape to size with a utility knife.
