How to Reset the Service Light on the Volvo V50?

Model: Volvo V50 MK 1 - Years 2004-2012

By holding down the button located on the right side of the instrument cluster, you can start the procedure to reset the Service light on the Volvo V50: the button must be held down while the instrument cluster is off. Next, insert the key into the ignition and turn on the ignition while continuing to hold the button: a flashing "i" will be displayed in the centre of the display. After the icon has flashed three times, you can release the button, turn off the instrument cluster; upon turning it back on, the light will be gone.
