How to Reset the Service Light on a Volvo V50

Model: Volvo V50 MK 1 - Years 2004-2012

To reset the Service light on a Volvo V50, press and hold the button located on the right side of the instrument cluster while the cluster is off. While holding the button, insert the ignition key and turn it to switch on the instrument cluster. Continue to hold the button until the Service light disappears from the instrument cluster. Once the light has disappeared, you can turn off the cluster and turn it back on to verify that the reset was successful.
