Do you want to replace the instrument cluster on your Volvo V50? Here’s how to remove the instrumentation located on the driver’s side dashboard. Remove the instrument cluster trim using a plastic lever (without breaking the plastic clips) and detach it from the dashboard.

Undo the screws on the sides of the instrument cluster trim: disconnect the power terminals of the instrument cluster. After removing the instrument cluster from the dashboard, prepare to install a new part or reinstall the same one (repair the instrument cluster if necessary).

Tighten the securing screws and refit the cover trim.
