How to Remove the Centre Trim Panel on Volvo V50

Learn how to remove the centre trim panel on a Volvo V50. Position the gear knob vertically, then use a plastic lever to pry off the trim (the gaiter) located at the bottom of the centre tunnel. After removing the gaiter, unscrew the screws under the central cover with a screwdriver. Once this is done, pull away the plastic with the radio (disconnect any power cables). Finally, insert the new piece into the trim of the tunnel and reassemble all components.
