Replacing Instrument Cluster Bulbs with LED Alternatives

To replace the instrument cluster illumination bulbs, first remove the instrument cluster from the vehicle. Once this is done, there are four main illumination bulbs (T5 fitting) and three odometer illumination bulbs (mileage display) at the back of the instrument cluster: remove all seven bulbs along with their holders, extract the bulbs from the holders, and replace them with LED ones (available in the aftermarket).
Note that the four main illumination bulbs are not polarised (they can be fitted in any orientation), while the display bulbs are polarised: if they do not light up, you will need to turn them. Perform a power test before reinstalling the instrument cluster by supplying power to the larger main connector pins: the positive is pin 10 (counting from the top right) and the ground is pin 17 (counting from the bottom right).

To adjust the brightness of the instrument cluster on a Peugeot 3008, you need to turn on the ignition and access the settings via the menu located in the central area of the dashboard.
