How to Remove the Mirror Cap on a Volvo XC60

Model: Volvo Xc60 MK 1 - Years 2008-2016

Using a thin but sturdy plastic tool and prying, start by removing the mirror by simply dislodging it. Once you have dislodged the mirror, disconnect the rear electrical connectors to remove it completely. This will expose the clips that secure the cap to the mirror. Proceed to unclip these four securing clips. At this point, you can dislodge the mirror cap and remove it completely. Once you complete this step, you will have successfully finished the removal.
