How to Replace the Side Mirrors on a Volvo S60?

If you need to replace the external rearview mirror of the vehicle, follow these steps: First, get a sharp object and insert it into the gap between the plastic back and the mirror frame. Then, using a screwdriver, carefully detach the inner mirror and disconnect the electric adjustment motor connector. Next, open the driver's side door and remove the plastic panel located at the base of the mirror support. Also, remove the plastic trim of the door handle; underneath it, there are screws that need to be removed to take off the entire inner door panel. Then, disconnect the power connector for the mirror controls and immediately unscrew the nut that holds the mirror support pin, which will now be free.
