How to reset the Service light on a Volvo V40?

Model: Volvo V40 MK 1 - Years 1995-2012

To reset the Service light on the Volvo V40, press and hold the button located in the lower centre of the instrument cluster, just below the speedometer. While continuing to hold this button, insert the ignition key and turn it to switch on the instrument cluster. After it has powered up, wait a few seconds with the button pressed, then release it. This will reset the Service light, allowing you to switch off the instrument cluster completely.
