Removing Instrument Cluster on Volvo V40

In this video, you will learn how to remove the instrument cluster from a Volvo V40. Get inside the cabin and start by removing the trim around the gear lever: unscrew the screws underneath it. Now proceed to remove the air vents using a plastic lever and disconnect its rear connector: unscrew the two screws located behind to remove the entire plastic console. Next, remove the plastic cover of the speedometer by unscrewing its upper screws: unclip it to bring out the entire unit. Also, disassemble the display by removing the screws and disconnect its electrical connector!
