How to Reset the Service Light on a Volvo V40?

From the display of the Volvo V40, you can completely clear the Service light by first turning on the instrument cluster, turning the key, and then holding down the OK button located at the end of the lever on the left of the steering wheel. This will cause a red light to start flashing, and when this is completely eliminated, you can turn off the instrument cluster. Now you will need to activate it again, checking that the Service light has been cleared from the instrument cluster. To verify that the light has indeed turned off, you will need to restart the cluster by turning the key.
