Replacement of the Volvo XC 40 remote control battery

In this video, we can see how to proceed to replace the dead battery of the Volvo XC 40 remote control, which opens and closes the doors. We grip the remote control and slide the lever at the base of the key ring, extract the metal blade, partially reinsert it and use it as a lever to separate the two parts of the remote control. Remove the old battery from its housing and insert a new CR 2430 in its place, making sure to respect the correct polarity, join the two shells and press firmly to lock them, finally insert the metal blade into its housing by snapping the lever.
