Replacing the battery of the key for the Volvo V40, produced from 2000 to 2004, is an operation that follows a very simple procedure that can be done independently. The first thing to do is to insert a flat-tipped screwdriver into the groove of the remote control, in order to open the cover. The second thing to do is to remove the cover and the dead battery to replace it with a new CW2016 battery. Once the battery is inserted, we can close the cover of the remote control. Finally, we conclude by testing the correct functioning of the key/remote control by trying it on the car.
