To replace the battery in a Volvo V40, first open the bonnet to access the components in the engine bay: here you will find the battery located at the top right of the compartment. To access it, first loosen the screws securing the air filter box, removing it completely.

Now, proceed to loosen the screws securing the battery to its mounts and disconnect the power cables: you can then remove it and position the new one.
