How do you replace the battery of the Volvo V40?

The battery of the Volvo V40 can be replaced by opening the hood, so that access to the components located inside the engine compartment can be obtained: here it will be possible to locate the covering panel of the front part of the compartment, so that the air filter box sleeve can be opened and removed completely. Once this is removed, it will be possible to disconnect the battery power cables, in order to remove it from its seat: at this point it will be possible to insert the new one, so that it is fixed and connected to its cables.
