To replace the battery on the Volvo V40, you need to open the hood to access the components located inside the engine compartment: once the hood is open, you can detach the plastic cover at the front of the compartment to fully open and remove the air filter box cover. Once this has been removed, you can disconnect the battery power cables to take it out of its housing: at this point, you can insert the new one, ensuring it is secured and connected to the corresponding bolts.
