First of all, make sure that the engine is cool enough, then position a container underneath the motorcycle, locate the drain plug and unscrew it using an 18mm socket wrench.

Let all the oil in the system drain out, disconnect the indicated exhaust pipe, and open the filter housing. At this point, all that's left to do is insert the replacement, reassemble everything, and pour in the new oil through the designated hole.
