Choosing the right battery for a scooter is simple; it must have the same voltage, 12V, and a similar capacity, usually 8-10Ah, preferably gel or AGM to avoid maintenance. To change it, place the scooter on a stand, unscrew the seat, and remove the panel where the battery is located, usually under the glove compartment. Disconnect the negative terminal first, then the positive, extract the old battery, and install the new one by connecting the positive first and then the negative. Ensure it is securely fixed, replace everything, and perform a start test. If the engine starts without issues, you have done an excellent job. If you encounter any problems or feel uncomfortable operating in DIY mode, contact a professional workshop.
