How to remove the front panel of the Yamaha X-Max 125
Model: Yamaha X Max
Video tutorial
To remove the front panel of the Yamaha X-Max 125, position yourself in front of the scooter and look for a small hole; use a bit to press and unlock the fastening mechanism. After unlocking it, pull outward to release the clips to remove the top part, then remove a screw with a 5 mm Allen key. Next, you will find two screws on the dashboard (one on each side) also with a 5 mm Allen key. Now take the front face and slide it down. You will find two more screws (one on each side) to remove with a 10 mm socket. Open both compartments and remove two screws with a 5 mm Allen key. The side covers simply pull off to release them. Underneath, you will find two clips: press the centre with a bit to unlock them. Access the headlight fairing by reaching inside and disconnecting the connector. After removing all screws (including those around the headlight), disconnect the last connector and remove the entire front assembly.
