To replace the belt on the Yamaha Majesty 400, first loosen the bolts securing the cover containing the air filter and remove it. Now, you will be able to access the cover containing the transmission and loosen its bolts to open the cover. Once opened, you can loosen the nuts securing the central pins of the variator and the clutch bell. By removing both, you can slide the belt out of its housing and replace it with a new spare part. After installing the belt, variator, and clutch, reinstall both covers removed earlier and the air filter.
