How to replace the front brake pads of the Yamaha Xmax 400?

To replace the front brake pads of the Yamaha Xmax 400 you will need: a socket wrench of 15, a T-wrench of 10, a hexagonal key of 5, a screwdriver, a brush, a thread locker and of course the new pads. It is necessary to mark the positions of the pins with the marker and remove the Allen key and the pin shown in the video. Then the caliper support pins must be removed with the socket wrench. By pushing the caliper pistons, space can be created to insert the new pads. At this point it will be necessary to reassemble all the parts previously removed, proceeding backwards.

In order to reset the Aprilia Shiver Service warning light, the instrument panel must be turned on, so that the menu can be accessed: by moving the controls to the right of the steering wheel, it will be possible to select the "Diagnostics" item. Then you will have to enter the code 12390 to access the Diagnostics menu: at this point, by selecting "Coupons reset" a confirmation screen will appear. By selecting "Yes" it will be possible to reset the maintenance intervals; once this operation has been completed, it will be possible to switch the ignition off and on again to check it.
