How to clear faults on T Max 500

In this video tutorial you can see how to check the fault code on the 2006 T Max 500, the first thing you have to do to enter the diagnosis is to turn the red button to OFF, therefore with the circuit off; you have to hold down the two buttons on the instrument panel (RESET AND SELECT), then turn on the panel; keep the buttons pressed even after turning on the ignition. At this point the message DIAG (diagnosis) appears; now push the SELECT and RESET buttons together until you enter the diagnosis. Now to see if there are any trouble codes, scroll to Dì 60, with SELECT. If there were any breakdowns, you could see numbers that scroll quickly. For each number that scrolls you can easily find a page on the internet to find out what fault the number corresponds to. To perform the cancellation you have to turn the button to ON then you will hear the pump turning to cancel all faults.

How do you replace the Sym Joymax 125 battery?

In order to replace the Sym Joymax 125 battery you need to loosen the two screws that secure the plastic cover located between the steering wheel and the footrest compartment of the bike. Once the cover has been removed, it will be possible to access the battery which can be extracted from its housing, after having disconnected the connectors and loosening the screws that secure it. When the old battery has been removed, it will be possible to replace it with a new spare part: this will have to be connected to the connectors and fixed with the relative screws, also fixing the protective cover.
