In order to replace the water pump it is necessary to first remove all the left side carters and body panels. Once you have access to the water radiator area, in the lower part of it there is a cap that must be unscrewed to empty all the coolant, not before having placed a basin on the floor to collect the liquid . Subsequently, remove the cooling water pipes entering and leaving the pump and unscrew the fixing bolts of the pump itself. At this point it will be possible to extract the pump group and eventually to replace or overhaul. Finally, it will be necessary to reassemble the water pipes backwards, refill the cooling system and all the components of the bodywork.

How to restore the oil light on the T Max 530

In this video, we are shown the procedure to reset the oil light on the Yamaha T Max 530 as it does not turn off automatically after changing the oil. The procedure is quick and requires little time to be completed. To reset it, you need to: start the instrument panel, once the panel is started press the menu button, use the selection buttons to scroll to the maintenance item, select it by pressing the menu button, use the selection buttons to select the oil item, press the ok button to confirm, once the kilometers are selected press the up selection button to reset it. Once the light is reset, you can restart the instrument panel to verify that the procedure was successful.
