If you have just changed the oil on your 2009 Yamaha Majesty 400 but the warning light continues to illuminate, you need to perform the following manual reset procedure. First, ensure that the scooter is completely off. Then, locate the three buttons inside the speedometer and hold down the bottom one. At the same time, insert the key and turn on the ignition.

Release the button after about eight seconds and turn off the ignition. Turn it back on immediately after, and if you have done everything correctly, the light should be permanently off.
