How to turn off the V-Belt light on the Yamaha Xmax 125?

We begin the procedure to reset the V-Belt light on the Yamaha Xmax 125 by turning on the instrument panel. It is not necessary to start the engine. We disconnect the jumper as shown in the video. This must remain disconnected for exactly 5 seconds, not more or less. We reconnect the jumper and verify that the V-Belt light has turned off. Another way to reset this light involves using a computer with specific software for mechanics and an OBD socket to connect it to the scooter. Since these are tools that not everyone has available, this second procedure requires going to the workshop.

How do you change the Piaggio MP3 engine oil?

The Piaggio MP3 engine oil change is carried out by unscrewing the oil drain plug which is positioned in the lower part of the bike, immediately in front of the rear wheel. Once the cap has been opened, it will be possible to let the used oil flow into a suitably positioned container. Next to the drain plug there will be the oil filter, which must be extracted from its seat and replaced with a new spare part. After the replacement, it will also be possible to close the drain plug and top up from the special vent.
