How to Change the Speed Unit on the Yamaha R1

If the display on the central dashboard of your Yamaha R1 shows the speed in the wrong unit and you want to change it, follow the instructions in this guide. First, place the bike on the stand and turn on the ignition.

Then, press the menu button several times to navigate through the options and locate the total kilometres travelled. Finally, press and hold the "Select" button and release it as soon as the speed unit changes from MPH to KM/H (or vice versa).
