If the V-Belt warning light is illuminated on the dashboard of your Yamaha XMAX 400 scooter, it means it is time to replace the drive belt as it has reached the service interval. Once this is done at your trusted workshop, you can manually remove the warning light by following the procedure shown in this tutorial. First, remove the small glove compartment on the right side, then locate the indicated white connector and set it aside. Next, turn on the dashboard, not the engine, disconnect the connector, and reconnect it after at least 10 seconds. Finally, restart the dashboard.
