How to Replace the Starter Motor on the 2015 Acura RLX

If you hear a grinding noise after starting the engine of your 2015 Acura RLX, it may be due to the starter motor. As seen in the video, to work freely on the starter motor located under the battery assembly, remove the battery. You need to unscrew a series of 14-millimeter bolts, disconnect connectors, and the battery cable. To extract the starter motor, you also need to move the hoses after removing the bracket that held it securely in place. In the video, the noise was due to the plunger not returning to its original position. To eliminate the noise, replace the starter motor with a new one and reinstall it in the vehicle.
