Repairing a hole in the dashboard of an Alfa Romeo GTV

In this video, we see the repair of a damaged dashboard on an Alfa Romeo GTV spider, where a hole had been made and then covered with a plastic plug. The hole was likely created to install an accessory, such as a phone holder or an additional gauge, and had deformed the plastic, making an invisible repair difficult. The surface was levelled with plastic filler, then textured to mimic the original finish and prevent future cracks. Using a plastic primer and pigment replicates the original base, but a slight scar remains; it was important not to overdo the filler to avoid cracks from vibrations.
