Replacing the Lambda Sensor on Alfa Romeo 156

Here are the steps to replace the lambda sensor on the Alfa Romeo 156. This component monitors the exhaust gases to send feedback to the engine control unit and adjust the fuel supply accordingly. Position the car on a jack to allow access to the sensor and remove it from its housing, after disconnecting the connection cable in the engine bay. You will only need a spanner and a cable to retrieve the connector for the new sensor, which will be connected to the upper part of the engine bay. This operation requires some practical skills.
