Alfa Romeo 156 - Video tutorial

Model: Alfa Romeo 156 MK 1 - Years 1997-2007
Part: Lambda sensor
Operation: How to replace the lambda probe

The video shows the operations to be carried out to replace the lambda probe, a component that controls the exhaust gas to send feedback to the engine control unit and thus regulate the flow of fuel. Our car will be placed on a stand in order to allow us to operate on the probe and remove it from its seat, this after having disconnected the connection cable in the engine compartment. For the whole execution, only a wrench and a cable will be needed to recover the connector of the new probe, which will be connected to the upper part of the engine compartment. The procedure is illustrated on an Alfa Romeo 156 1.8 TS 16V.
