Before you can start, open the driver's door of your Alfa Romeo 156. Begin by removing the cover located behind the pedals by unscrewing the relevant fixing screws. Next, unclip the hook that connects the sensor to the pedal. Once done, unscrew and remove the screws that secure the sensor to the floor. At this point, disconnect the electrical connector attached to the sensor, then remove the sensor itself, and you will have completed the disassembly. To install the new sensor, simply follow these steps in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
