Where is the engine control unit in the Alfa Romeo Giulia?

In this video, you can see where the engine control unit is located in the Alfa Romeo Giulia and how to proceed if you need to remove it, for example, for reprogramming. As shown, the control unit is positioned on the right side of the engine, which is to your left when looking at the vehicle from the front. To remove it, simply disconnect the two large connectors by unlocking the clips, then unscrew the single nut and the three bolts. To fit the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure, ensuring to replace the earth bolt.
