How to Replace the Headlight Bulb on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta

To replace the front headlight bulb on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, park the car on a level surface, turn off the ignition, and allow the headlight unit to cool completely if the lights were on. Open the bonnet and locate the rear of the headlight corresponding to the side you need to work on. Reach the back of the headlight and remove the protective cover (depending on the version, it may be a rubber cap or a plastic cover).

At this point, locate the bulb connector and carefully disconnect it without pulling on the wires.

If there is a retaining clip (clip or ring), unlock it and free the bulb. Extract the bulb while keeping it aligned and note the orientation for installation.

Insert the new bulb in the same orientation, ensuring the tabs and slots align correctly. If the bulb is halogen, avoid touching the glass with your fingers: any residue can reduce its lifespan.

Reclose the clip (clip/ring), reconnect the connector, and refit the rear cover ensuring it is sealed properly to prevent moisture ingress. Close the bonnet, turn on the lights, and check that the headlight on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta functions correctly and that the beam is stable.

If you notice condensation in the headlight after the intervention, double-check that the rear cover has been repositioned and closed correctly.
