The instructions in this guide will show you how to replace the spark plugs in the Alfa Romeo 147 1.6 Twin Spark. First, open the bonnet of the vehicle and begin removing the upper engine cover; then disconnect the electrical connectors from the ignition coils by unscrewing the screws located at the base.

At this point, use a socket wrench with an extension to remove and replace the spark plugs; screw in the new spark plugs (of the correct type and with the same thread pitch) by hand, then tighten gently with the wrench. Reconnect the ignition coils and start the engine!
