In this video tutorial we will see how to remove and replace the coolant thermostat on the Alfa Romeo 147 Twin Spark. First of all we open the bonnet and unscrew the cap of the expansion tank; then we lift the car and disconnect the coolant hose, letting it drain into a container. At this point we remove the motor protection and disassemble the suction sleeve, disconnecting the mass air flow sensor; then we unscrew the fixing screws of the thermostat, disconnecting the pipes of the coolant. We just have to replace it with the new one and reassemble everything!
