- Years 2000-2010 Today's instructions will show us how to disassemble and replace the thermostat of the Alfa Romeo 147 1.6. First, we open the car's engine hood and start removing the upper plastic cover of the engine. Then, we disconnect the MAF sensor and proceed to unscrew the thermostat screws with a ratchet wrench, as shown in the video. At this point, we remove and replace the thermostat with the new one, disconnecting the tubing and electrical connector. We reassemble the original thermostat and make the various connections, following the video tutorial until the end!
