This video shows how to replace the thermostat for the radiator fluid. In this tutorial, we are working with an Alfa Romeo 147, but the most important thing is that it features a 1900 JTD engine, which is fitted in many Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Lancia models.

If possible, purchase a thermostat with an integrated temperature sensor. First, you need to drain the radiator circuit, then remove the battery to gain access, and after that, break the clips and remove the hoses as shown in the video.

This operation is quite complex and not suitable for beginner mechanics.
