Replacing Rear Shock Absorber on Alfa Romeo 147

Replace the damaged rear shock absorber on an Alfa Romeo 147. Lift the car on a column lift and remove the wheel. Undo the screws of the plastic inner wheel arch. Now, unscrew the securing bolts of the oil pipes and the vertical arm pin. If the pin does not come out, tap it with a hammer. Lower the lift and unscrew the bolts on the side in the boot. Pull the shock absorber out and insert the new shock absorber into its housing, first tighten all the upper bolts in the boot, then secure the lower part. Screw the vertical arm to the wheel hub and the shock absorber. Tighten all bolts securely with your spanner. Refit the previously removed inner wheel arch. Refit the rear wheel.
